are you serious?! from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm – Friday, March 5th February 26, 2010
Posted by Nik in : Events , add a commentLast year ‘Are You Serious?!’ spontaneously found time to perform at the club. As people keep on asking for the next show we now proudly present their next gig.
There is no need to sign up. But it will be crowded so be early and grab yourself a drink. As it is impromptu theatre you will be welcome to throw in your ideas and ‘Are You Serious?!’ will make up something you won’t forget.

Things have changed. Often we say that with a bit of melancholy. But happy we are about change too!
What I am implying here is simply that we not only have new committee members but also loads of new English Speaking Club of Bern members! Interesting people with thrilling stories to tell. I am deligthed to welcome them into our – what I feel as – family. We also are very happy to see faces again we hadn’t seen for ages. And together with you that is the ESCB we want. We benefit from vivid barnights, chats and discussions which last in our minds, people we want to see again and with whom we want to spend more time. You who are reading this newsletter – you are a part of it. Thank you very much!
What else?
Behind us are the movie night and the fun speed dating, organised by Misha and Terhi. Thanks very much indeed to the two for holding these events! Ahead lie:
‘Are You Serious’ will grace us with their presence on Friday, March 5th. They will perform between 9:00 and 10:00 pm. As usual, the bar remains open during their perfomance.
On March 26th our event brain Terhi will hold an Easter Hunt. You all know the location well so we will only hide the egg virually. You have to follow hints and answer questions and maybe you are the one who gets the easter egg.
Since people keep on asking for mixed drinks, we will have a Cocktail Night on April 16th. Nik and Terhi are going to take care of that. And imagine, the committee members have already volunteerd as guinea pigs…
We look forward to seeing you at the club!
On behalf of the committee,
Corinne Oegerli, ESCB President
